Every tag is handmade by myself in my workshop in Portsmouth. All designs are hand stamped into the metal using a hammer. The front and back of the tags can be personalised. These are perfect for identifcation tags for pets or as keyrings.

❖ The front of the tag can have a name, initial or just the picture.

❖ The back of the tag can customised with 2 lines of text. Maximum of 13 characters per line (includes spaces & punctuation) Additional lines of text can be purchased.
Back of tag:

❖ Every tag comes with a small and large stainless steel split ring (silver colour). Please use these to attach the tag to collar or harness. The two spilt rings will help the tag to sit picture side facing forward so that your details are not on show in pictures. These are very strong and will not rust.
❖ Each tag / keyring is secured onto a backing card and put inside a small paper envelope, sealed with a sticker. This packaging has been chosen to protect the tags but also be as enviromnetally friendly as possible.
The UK's legal requirements for a dog's ID tag
The Control of Dogs Order 1992 mandates that any dog in a public place must wear a collar with the owner's name (initial and surname), address and postcode engraved or written on it, or engraved on a dog identity tag.
A house number and postcode are all that is needed to specify an entire UK address (This can be useful for smaller tags where there might not be space for your full address)
I would strongly advise also adding at least one contact phone number as this is the easiest way to conatct you if your pet was to go missing.
Cleaning & Mainenance:
Over time the enamel may fade and the tag may show signs of wear. If this happens, use fine wire wool / a fine nail buffer to clean the tag. Then use a sharpie pen or nail varnish to colour in tag. Once dry you can wipe off excess the excess ink with kitchen paper, for tough bits use a nail varnish remover pad gently over the tag. For a shiny finish use a polishing cloth. Please note that Copper or Brass will tarnish over time this can easily cleaned with tomato sauce or brasso polish.
ALUMINIUM IS THE SOFTEST OF THE METALS, Brass is the hardest of the metals. ALL metals will show wear over time. The speed of this depends on your dogs usage and environment it is subjected to (sand, charms and other items on your dogs collar may cause this to be faster).

This item is hand made to order and your specifications therefore CANNOT be returned or exchanged unless they arrive damaged or defective.

❖ As all designs are hand stamped there may be slight variations in design, layout or font. I try my best to keep it as close to the picture as possible, If you were wanting a specific font or stamp then plase add this in the customisations section or in 'send a message to the seller' part. Most tags can be done on a larger or smaller tags so please message before hand to check.
❖ Handstamping is done with a stamp and a hammer. Each individual character or picture is stamped into the metal, no two tags will be indentical. This process causes the metal to be displaced. Hand Stamping is very different to engraving therefore definition may be slightly seen on the reverse of the tag due to the impact. Handstamping is a artform and will not be perfect or 100% uniformed. If you are after this, i recomend that you get an engraved tag that is done by a computer and machine.
